I've learned to relax

Life sometimes passes us by if we let it. For the past few months, I have struggled with this thought, and have decided that I need to make some changes to seize the day and get the most out of life. These musings are the result.

Sort of a quick post today- I have a lot of "to-do's" today- mostly domestic stuff as we finish settling in.

We have new pictures and videos up. One of the videos is a walkthrough of our apartment. I haven't taken any apartment pictures yet - just the video. Also in the apartment video you can see the project that Jessica and I worked on: a cat gym! It is 2.5 by 4 feet wide and about 4 feet tall. It features a sunning deck that fits well in front of our window, a large upper perch complete with ramp, and a hiding cubby on the first floor, and a hole in the 2nd floor to peak through to the ground level. We completed it in about 10 hours of work, not counting return trips to the carpet store and home depot after running out of materials. Total cost was right around $100, not counting the tools we needed to buy (because a hammer, screwdriver, and wrenches was not going to do the trick.)

Enjoy!

The kitty gym looks great, as does your apartment! It IS amazing how quickly things fill up, isn't it?
